Ed Collins has seen noteworthy changes in the legal profession since he joined Droder & Miller in 1985. Many changes are a result of the evolution of client needs and business practices.
He delivers significant consulting to clients for domestic relations work, business planning and partnership disputes. His experience in complex divorce litigation and business transactions enables clients to move forward in their lives as quickly as possible.
Ed works with small business and start-up organizations with a particular interest in financing options – discovering funding sources for growth and establishing the terms and conditions for its use. Ed brings unbiased oversight of small business challenges while helping owners find effective solutions.
Ed takes great pride in his intentional responsiveness to clients including simply returning phone calls promptly. He also enhances the depth of legal expertise at Droder & Miller, where clients can expect thoughtful and personalized support.
Ed was admitted to practice law in Ohio and to the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio in 1977. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and is a past member of the Cincinnati Collaborative Law Group.
Ed is an active Board Member of Charlie’s ¾ House, a rehab and transitional facility supporting alcoholic men in recovery. This Over-the-Rhine facility houses 200 men each year in a safe and supportive environment and utilizes the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-step program.
